In the world of Elkan, tieflings are most often descendants of succubi and incubi, mostly due to their general proclivity to be more promiscuous and agreeable than most fiends, but also because the succubus queen Octavia has personally given birth to hundreds of tieflings across the ages. Those who know better view tieflings as being closer to their mortal heritage than anything else.
