Traits

Elite:

An Elite creature counts as two monsters of a given level. It has +2 to all saves, as well as twice as many hit points and twice as much damage as a typical monster of its level.

Legendary:

A Legendary creature counts as five monsters of a given level for the purposes of XP and encounter difficulty. It has +4 to all saves, as well as four times as many hit points and typically deals five times as much damage, albeit spread out amongst its targets.

Spider Climb

The creature can move across vertical surfaces or ceilings.

Rooted

The lobber is typically rooted in place in the ceiling of a tunnel or cave. The lobber can use an action to root in place. When a rooted lobber is subjected to an effect that would move it or knock it prone, it can make a DC 13 strength saving throw to avoid the effect. If it is moved, it loses its grip and becomes prone, falling to the ground if rooted in a wall or ceiling. While rooted, the lobber has disadvantage on dexterity saving throws.

Actions

Multiattack: The lobber uses Release Pod, then either uses Release Pod again or makes an attack.

Release Pod:

Action - 60 ft.

  • The lobber spits out a Lobber Pod, which is hurled to the target location. The new pod takes its turn directly after the lobber.

Bite:

Melee Attack - 1 Creature (5 ft.)

  • Attack: +4

  • Hit: 1d6+2 slashing damage

Spit Acid:

Melee Attack - 1 Creature (30 ft.)

  • Attack: +4

  • Hit: 1d6+2 acid damage
