Utility

• Choose a spell of 5th level or lower that you can cast, that has a casting time of 1 action, and that can target only you. Cast that spell as part of casting Contingency, expending both spell slots. The chosen spell takes effect only when a triggering circumstance occurs.

• Trigger: You describe the condition under which the chosen spell takes effect. The spell is cast instantly when the condition is met, even if you are unconscious. The spell cast doesn't require concentration even if it normally would.

• Limitation: You can have only one Contingency spell active at a time. If you cast Contingency again, the previous one ends. Contingency ends if the material the statuette is ever destroyed.
