Utility

• You step into the Border Ethereal, overlapping your current plane. You remain there for the Duration or until you use an Action to dismiss the spell.

• While in the Border Ethereal, you can move in any direction. Moving up or down costs double movement. You can see and hear your original plane, but everything appears gray, and you cannot see farther than 60 ft.

• You can only affect and be affected by creatures on the Ethereal Plane. Creatures not on the Ethereal Plane cannot perceive or interact with you unless they have special abilities or magic to do so.

• You ignore all objects and effects that are not on the Ethereal Plane, allowing you to move through objects you perceive on your original plane.

• When the spell ends, you return to your original plane in the space you occupy. If that space is occupied, you are shunted to the nearest unoccupied space and take force damage equal to twice the number of feet moved.

• This spell has no effect if cast while on the Ethereal Plane or a plane that does not border it.

Upcasting: Target up to two additional creatures within 10 ft. of you for each spell level above 7th.
