Geas
You place a curse on willing creatures, forcing them to carry out some service or refrain from some action.
1 Minute - 6 Creatures (60 ft.) - 5th level (Enchantment) - V - Permanent
Curse
Your target(s) must be willing to be placed under a Geas.
You and the targets must agree on the contract before the spell is cast. The targets must understand the contract they agree to, or the spell fails. The contract usually includes a time or a condition that causes the Geas to end. The caster can end the Geas at any time.
Once per day, if the target acts in a manner directly counter to the contract, they make a save.
Charisma Save
Failure: Target takes 10d10 psychic damage* and suffers 2 levels of exhaustion.
Success: Half damage, and target suffers 1 level of exhaustion.
*Upcasting: Increase damage by 2d10 for each spell level above 5th level.
The target never takes damage if the believe they are following the original contract. If they are tricked into breaking the terms of the Geas, they must try to rectify their error if possible.
A Greater Restoration or Wish spell can end the Geas.
