• You reshape the appearance of natural terrain in an area up to 1 mile square. The terrain's general shape remains the same, but you may make it look, sound, smell, and feel like a different type of terrain.

• Examples: An open field or road could appear as a swamp, crevasse, or hills; a pond could look like a meadow; a precipice like a slope; or a rocky gully like a smooth road.

• You may alter the appearance of structures or create illusory ones, but the spell does not disguise, conceal, or create creatures.

• The illusion includes audible, visual, tactile, and olfactory elements. It can create illusory difficult terrain or make rough terrain seem smooth.

• Any part of the illusory terrain removed from the spell's area (such as a rock or stick) disappears immediately.

• Creatures with Truesight see through the illusion to the terrain's true form. However, they still perceive and can physically interact with the illusory elements.
